Renew NC Single-Family Housing Program
Renew NC is the opportunity to help those who lost housing due to Helene to rebuild housing for low to moderate income families who meet a certain criteria.
RECENT NEWS
- Eaton Invests in Workforce Growth in Buncombe County, Adds 300 Jobs. Driven by growing national demand for their industry leading Low Voltage Assembly product line, this expansion will support new production capacity, and create 300 high-tech, high-wage careers in the next 12 months at its Arden and Avery Creek facilities.
- Land of Sky Regional Council’s Annual Awards were conferred during the December Board of Delegates Meeting on December 3, 2025. The Barbara G. Volk Leadership Award, The Robert C. Parrish, Sr. Intergovernmental Relations Award, The Charles H. Campbell Regional Leadership Award and The Robert E. Shepherd Excellence in Local Government Award were presented by the Council. In addition, there were three Extraordinary Public Service Awards, seventeen Hurricane Helene Recovery Champion Awards, and seven Hurricane Helene Recovery Partnership Awards conferred this year.
