Professional Experience

Stephanie Stewart, a native of Western North Carolina, joined Land of Sky Regional Council in 2014. Stephanie facilitates evidence-based program expansion across Buncombe, Henderson, Madison and Transylvania counties and provides technical support to state recognized Senior Centers. She is also a Laughter Yoga Leader and developer of the Asheville Terrace Community Health Worker Pilot Project. Stephanie’s background, prior to working in the field of aging, was in community-based mental health services.
