The National Family Caregiver Support Program is closely
linked to other parts of the nation's emerging home and
community-based long-term care system and serves participants
who have different needs for long-term care services.

Families who care for elderly persons will be helped
through:
- Information about available services
- Assistance in gaining access to services
- Supportive Services such as:
- Individual Counseling
- Support Groups
- Caregiver training
- Respite care
- Supplemental services
